The Insomnia Recovery Program
Eight weeks of private coaching for people who have tried everything and are still stuck in the cycle of worrying about, monitoring, and trying to fix their sleep.
Most people who struggle with chronic insomnia aren't lacking sleep tips. By the time they seek coaching, they've usually tried sleep hygiene, supplements, strict routines, meditation, podcasts, books, tracking devices, and countless internet searches.
The problem is that more effort doesn't always create better sleep. In many cases, the struggle itself becomes part of what keeps insomnia alive.
Over eight weeks we'll work on the patterns that may be maintaining your insomnia and develop a different relationship with sleep and wakefulness. This is coaching focused on changing that relationship — not on adding more sleep hacks to your routine.
No coaching program can guarantee a particular sleep outcome. The goal is to help you move away from the exhausting cycle of fighting sleep and toward a calmer, more confident relationship with sleep and wakefulness.
What the eight lessons cover
- The role of perceived threat and hyperarousal
- The paradox of trying too hard to sleep
- Befriending wakefulness
- Letting go of clock-watching and time calculations
- Meeting the day after a difficult night
- Understanding the deeper fears connected to insomnia
- Responding to yourself with greater kindness
- Navigating setbacks without turning them into a renewed struggle
The first four lessons cover the same foundational material as the free Starter Course. If you've already done it, you'll recognise them — the paid program builds on that foundation with individual coaching, ongoing support, and four further lessons. Start with the free course instead.
Questions about the program
Who is this program for?
Adults struggling with chronic insomnia who feel stuck despite trying many different solutions. It's particularly well suited to people who have become caught in a cycle of constantly thinking about, monitoring, or trying to fix their sleep.
What if I've already tried everything?
Many clients feel this way before coaching. In fact, people who have tried numerous approaches are often the best fit, because they're ready to explore a fundamentally different perspective on insomnia.
How many sessions are included?
Eight private 45-minute coaching sessions, plus email support between them and an eight-part video curriculum delivered across the eight weeks.
Will I be cured of insomnia?
No coach can ethically guarantee a cure. The purpose of coaching is to help you better understand your situation, develop a healthier relationship with sleep and wakefulness, and support you as you make meaningful changes over time.
What happens after the eight weeks?
We'll review your progress, talk through what you've learned, and discuss how to keep moving forward on your own. If you'd find further support helpful, we can talk about what that might look like for your situation.
What if I've already completed the free Starter Course?
You'll recognise the first four video lessons. You won't need to rewatch them unless a refresher would help. The difference is eight weeks of one-to-one coaching and four further lessons, which let us apply the concepts to your specific situation and work through setbacks as they come up.
